Description: 1 Mil Polyimide film coated with Silicone Adhesive, has features like electrical insulation, radiation resistance, solvent resistance etc. It can withstand 180 degree Celsius continuously and 260 degree Celsius for 30 minutes. Its electrical and mechanical properties are excellent and stable over a wide temperature range. It can be used continuously upto 180 degree centigrade. The tape is self-extinguishing. Adhesive when burnt leaves non-conductive ash.

Applications:

• For PCB Masking during wave soldering process to mask off contracts and specific area on printed circuit board. It provides quick, effective clean up with virtually no adhesive residue even after exposure to the extreme temperatures of wave soldering.

Heat Sink Tape consists of a tacky, electrically non-conductive phase change film on one side of a conformable metal foil carrier. H766 can be assembled onto a heat sink or heat spreader, leaving the metal foil exposed. The natural tack of the phase change polymer holds the h766 to the heat sink while the foil layer acts as a highly conductive interface between the component and heat sink and allows a clean break during dis assembly. The foil also eliminates the need for a protective liner, which simplifies the final assembly process.
